The fire happened in the Boiling Springs area of Lexington County around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14.

The Lexington County Fire Service arrived to the fire after a report of a structure fire with a possible entrapment on Peak Copper Court.

The cause and origin of the fire are currently under investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the State Fire Marshals Office, the Lexington County Fire Service, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
