Eau Claire Rotary Club gives back to Rapid Shelter Columbia residents

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Eau Claire Rotary Club decided to give back to those in need.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Columbia, the Eau Claire Rotary Club made “Welcome Home Baskets” for residents at Rapid Shelter Columbia.

City officials say the residents who received the baskets are moving into permanent housing and needed essential items to help them settle into their new environment.

Items like paper towels, toilet paper, disinfectant spray and wipes, cooking utensils, and plates, cups, silverware were giving to the residents.
