Falling gas prices may have come to end

(CNN)– It may cost travelers slightly more to take a road trip this Christmas.

Gas prices fell to a yearly low of $3.06 a gallon on Monday.

But they’re starting to inch up and have gained 6 cents since then.

That puts the price of a gallon of gas to 17 cents less than last month and two cents more than this time last year.

According to AAA, the average price for gas in South Carolina is $2.88 a gallon.
