Columbia Parking Services offering complimentary parking for the holidays

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia Parking Services has announced complimentary parking for the upcoming holidays.

According to a press releases, the city is excited to support the local businesses and community with the free parking.

Christmas Parking Schedule:

All City Decks

Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23: Lincoln, Park, Lady,  and Sumter Street decks will offer free parking.

Decks will return to normal Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 2 a.m.

Street Meter Operations

On Friday, Dec. 22–Tuesday, Dec. 26 parking after 6 p.m. will be free.

Normal meter operations will resume on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.

Except for Five Points, timed parking will be enforced during normal hours (11 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

New Year’s Parking Schedule:

All City Decks

Starting at 4 p.m. on  Saturday, Dec. 30, Lincoln, Park, Lady, and Sumter Street decks will offer free parking.

Decks will return to normal hours at 2 a.m. on Tuesday Jan. 2, 2024.                   

Street Meter Operations

January 1, 2024, there will be free parking.
