Newberry officers ask residents to be patient of traffic as portions of bridge travel through area

NEWBERRY, S.C. (WOLO)– Officers with the Newberry Police Department are asking residents to be patient as the final portions of the Boundary Street Bridge will be transported through Newberry after noon today.

An alert from the City of Newberry says the portions will be transported off of I-26 to Main Street, Wilson Road, to Dixie Drive and then to Nance Street.

Residents are asked to expect delays as officers will be escorting the bridge and assisting traffic in the areas.
