One dead after Christmas Day collision in Sumter County
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a collision in Sumter County on Christmas Day, says the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The collision happened on Monday, Dec. 25, around 6 p.m. on US-76 at Bell Road about one mile South from Mayesville.
A 2002 Cadillac Escalade was traveling East on Bell Road when it collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling West on US-76, say SCHP.
The collision is currently under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
