SC Election Commission remind voters of important dates for 2024 Presidential Primaries

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The State Election Commission is sending reminders to voters as the presidential primaries are quickly approaching in South Carolina.

Voters can vote in either primary regardless of party affiliation but you can only vote in either the Democratic or the Republican Primary.

The deadline to register for the Democratic Primary is January 4.

The deadline to register for the Republican Primary is January 25.

The primaries are February 3 for Democrats and February 24 for the Republicans.
