SCDPS announces increase of law enforcement for New Year holiday travel
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Starting on December 29-January 1 motorist across South Carolina will see additional enforcement on the road, said the SC Department of Public Safety.
The SC Department of Public Safety said over the next few days special enforcement during the official New Year holiday travel period will be conducted.
South Carolina Highway Patrol and State Transport Police will focus on enforcing all traffic violations with an importance on speeding, seatbelt usage, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and impaired driving.
