CRFD: Southbound traffic reopens as firefighters get house fire under control

The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is in the 5200 block of Farrow Road near Busby Street working a house fire, fire under control.

According to CRFD, the house fire is now under control and no injuries were reported.

Southbound traffic on Farrow Road is now moving again while the northbound side of Farrow Road is still closed, said fire officials.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department said the cause of the fire will be investigated.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is in the 5200 block of Farrow Road near Busby Street working a house fire, said CRFD.

According to a social media post by the department when firefighters arrived at the scene they saw heavy wind driven fire at the house.

Farrow Road is closed to traffic in both directions near Busby Street right now, said the fire department.

No injuries were reported.
