Richland County Coroner identifies man killed in I-126 crash

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Richland County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died Friday afternoon after a crash on I-126.

According to Coroner Naida Rutherford, the man was Byron L. Pringle, 48, of Columbia, S.C. who died on December 29, 2023.

“We will continue working with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this crash.” Coroner Rutherford states.
