The Ark Church presents MLK Day Community Recognition Ceremony on January 15

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – One church is celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special ceremony.

The Ark Church is hosting an MLK Day Community Recognition Ceremony at 3 p.m. at 1230 St. Andrews Road. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Curtis spoke with Loretta Coleman from Loretta Coleman Ministries about how this event will honor local leaders for their work in the community and to honor the legacy of Dr. King.

The event will have several gospel performances from groups like The Singing Crusaders, The Anointed Angels & The Mickens.

It’s $20 at the door & $10 for kids 6 to 10.
