Fairfield County deputies ask public for help with unsolved murder investigation
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the communities help solving a homicide that has been unsolved for 3 years, says the department.
Investigators say they are continuing their efforts to bring closure to the victim’s family and seek justice for the crime.
On October 24, 2020, at around 8:45 p.m., a juvenile victim was killed near the intersection of Meadow Lake Road and Hwy-215 South, near the Monticello EZ Mart, in the Monticello community of Fairfield County.
The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds lying near his vehicle in an old parking lot, say investigators.
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward and help solve the case.
