President Biden marks 20 million ACA enrollees, warning GOP would repeal the law

(CNN)– President Joe Biden on Wednesday talked about a major milestone in for health care through the Affordable Care Act.

But it came with a warning that Republicans in Congress remain focused on efforts to repeal the law.

Biden said that would be a “catastrophe” that would raise healthcare costs for millions of people, especially older Americans and small business owners who rely on the

marketplace for their coverage.
Republicans have tried and failed to roll back the law since it passed in 2010.
The issue re-emerged on the campaign trail when Former President Donald Trump pledged to renew efforts to repeal the law during a speech in Iowa.
20 million people have signed up for coverage so far.
