Local Living: Home building and remodeling expo at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, free Fridays are back at the Riverbanks Zoo.
Every Friday in January and February residents of Richland and Lexington County can receive free daytime admission.
You just need a proof of residency such as a driver’s license or a property tax statement.
There will be a home building and remodeling expo at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center this weekend.
You can learn valuable information from the pros on how you can spruce up your space and even see the latest innovations and design trends.
Times run from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission for adults is $3.
The Lake Murray Bridal Show is also coming to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The event gives brides and grooms the chance to meet with wedding professionals, try out caterers and different vendors and more.
There will also be door prizes and a selfie station.
Admission is $12 at the door.
