SC Lawyer, Senator Dick Harpootlian announces re-election campaign

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Lawyer and South Carolina State Senator Dick Harpootlian announced on social media Thursday morning he will be running for re-election in Senate District 26.
According to officials, Harpootlian has been a State Senator since 2018 and a District 26 resident for 50 years.

Harpootlian recently gained national notoriety for serving as one of the defense attorneys for convicted murdered Alex Murdaugh.
In the announcement post, Harpootlian expressed his excitement.
