Early morning Orangeburg collision leaves one dead
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after an early morning collision in Orangeburg County, says the SCHP.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14.
SCHP says, the driver was traveling East on Widol Street when the driver went off the right side of the road and struck a culvert causing the car to over turn and hit a tree.
State troopers say the victim died at the scene due to their injuries.
