Shores apartment at Hardscrabble Road closing due to widening project

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Beginning on Monday, Jan. 15, the Hardscrabble Road entrance to The Shores apartment complex will be temporarily closed.

According to a Richland County press release, the closure is due to the Hardscrabble Road widening project in Richland County.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation says construction will include new asphalt and a new curb, gutter and sidewalk.

Officials expect construction to last around a week.

Traffic for The Shores apartment complex will be directed to the complex’s entrance on Elders Pond Road.
