Local Living: 11th annual Pig and Oyster Roast, Columbia Museum of Art public touch tour, Adopt furry friend for $1

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In today’s look at Local Living, you can attend the 11th annual Pig and Oyster Roast.
There will be all-you-can-eat hog barbecue, roasted oysters, southern sides and more.
It takes place on Saturday, Jan 27, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at City Roots Farm.
Tickets are $65.
The Columbia Museum of Art is hosting a public touch tour next Tuesday.
Visitors who are blind or have low vision can experience the 3D work in the museum’s collection.
Participants may bring one guest for assistance.
Guide dogs are also welcomed.
Admission is free but you must register in advance.
You can offer a former home to a pet in need.
All this month Columbia Animal Shelter is offering adoptions for just $1.
If you are interested in bringing home a furry friend just go by the shelter on Humane Lane.
It’s open from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
