CDC expands warning of salmonella infections linked to recalled charcuterie meats

(CNN)– The CDC is expanding its warning about the risk of salmonella in Charcuterie meat.

There are now a total of 47 reported illnesses in 22 states linked to the Busseto Brand Charcuterie Sampler.

More than 11 thousand pounds of charcuterie meat products are being recalled by Busseto Foods.

The product was also sold under different names like Fratelli Beretta Antipasto which was sold at Sam’s Club.

At Costco, it went by the name Grand Beretta.

So far there have been ten hospitalizations linked to Salmonella exposure.
