New report shows which states spend most or least on groceries
(CNN)– Grocery prices are undoubtedly high compared to previous years.
But households pay more in certain states.
The Census Bureau’s Household Pulse survey shows American families shell out about $270 a week on groceries in Late October.
The exact amount fluctuates with the number of people in a home. It also depends on where people live.
Households in California pay the most at 297 a week. Nevada and Mississippi come in second and third.
