SCDNR: Officers investigating after boy shot while squirrel hunting
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating a shooting in Orangeburg after a 13-year-old boy was shot, said officials.
According to the SCDNR, the boy was shot while squirrel hunting on private land with a friend.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
SCNDR commented on the shooting on social media:
“Our thoughts are with the boy’s family and loved ones.”
Our officers are investigating a hunting accident that led to the death of a 13-year-old boy in Orangeburg County on Sunday afternoon.
