Columbia Firefighters respond to 2-alarm apartment fire
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters say they are working to contain a fire at Columbia Rising Apartments on Johnson Ave. near N. Main St.
Officials say they responded just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
About 16 units at the apartment building have been left damage with a estimate of around 30 people displaced.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time but two people were taken by EMS to be treated for smoke inhalation and the cause of the fire is unknown.
