1 dead, 1 injured after late night Lexington County collision, says SCHP

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead and one person is injured after a late night collision on Tuesday, says SCHP.

According to S.C. state troopers, the collision happened on Fish Hatchery Road near Patricia Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 23, around 10:30 p.m.

A driver in a 1991 Ford F150 was going South on Fish Hatchery Road when the driver went off the right side of the road and over corrected.

Then went off the left side of the road and overturned, say state troopers.

The driver of the Ford was taken to Prisma Health Richland for life threatening injuries and a passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
