Coroner releases name of victim who died in Fish Hatchery Road collision

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the name of the person who died in a single-vehicle collision on Fish Hatchery Road, said the coroner’s office.

The collision happened in the Pelion area of Lexington County around 10:38 p.m. on Jan. 23.

According to Coroner Fisher, Antonia Deshawn White, 32, of Columbia was a passenger in a pick-up truck that was going southbound on Fish Hatchery Road when the truck went off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

White was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol MAIT continue to investigate the incident.
