Many parents are financially subsidizing their adult children

(CNN)– Most parents expect to pay for their children until they become adults.

But many say they’re still financially subsidizing their now adult children sometimes until their late 20’s and 30’s.

That’s according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.

Pew found that about a third of young adults between the ages of 18 and 34 are still living with a parent.

However, Today’s young adults also are more likely to have college degrees and earn more money on an inflation adjusted basis than their parents did 30 years ago, said Pew.
