Experience Columbia SC announces partnership with former Gamecock Aliyah Boston
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Experience Columbia SC has announced a partnership with WNBA Rookie of the Year and former Gamecock Aliyah Boston to inspire travel in the Columbia area.
Boston will share her experience exploring Colombia, including her favorite spots and activities during her time at USC.
“I got to Columbia when I was 17 years old and this is where I found my voice,” said Boston.
The WNBA player says Columbia always will always hold a special place in her heart because it is a place where she grew up.
The announcement took place during a press conference at Colonial Life Arena before the USC WWB team won their game against Vanderbilt.
“This community embraced me from my first day when I arrived as a freshman and will always feel like home. I’m excited and proud to partner with Experience Columbia SC and be a part of sharing this beautiful, vibrant and diverse city with visitors,” stated Boston.
