Individual Income Tax filing season opens
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Revenue says the individual income tax filing season starts today.
The angry says it will begin processing returns on February 5.
The department says this year the state’s two wage earner credits has increased with a maximum credit now of $350.
Also, the exemption for dependents has increased to more than $4 thousand.
The filing deadline for both state and federal income tax returns is Monday, April 15, 2024.
