Lockheed Martin celebrates 50th anniversary of F-16 jet
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– On Tuesday morning members of the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance and officials with Lockheed Martin marked the 50th anniversary of the plane.
Lockheed Martin builds the F-16 fighting falcon at its facility in Greenville.
State Officials say Lockheed Martin is just part of its commitment to manufacturing in South Carolina.
The company has been in business in South Carolina since 1984.
