Orangeburg County deputies searching for stolen wood chip trailer

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) — The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a stolen wood chip trailer taken from an Orangeburg County work site.

Investigators say a work crew reported the 2022 Kalyn chip trailer missing.

“This trailer was being used at a site off of I-26 when it was discovered to have been stolen, apparently over the weekend,” the sheriff said. “If anyone has seen this trailer, they are asked to contact us immediately.”

The trailer is described as silver with the name “Carter” written in blue vertically on the front sides of the trailer and it has a large opening in the rear for wood to be loaded, say investigators.

Anyone with information on the wood chip trailer is urged to call the OCSO at 803-534-3550.
