Nikki Haley makes campaign stop in SC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Republican Presidential Candidate and Former SC Governor Nikki Haley made a return to her home state on Thursday afternoon.

Haley held a meet-and-greet at Doc’s Barbeque in Columbia before heading to Hilton Head on the same day.

During the appearance Haley spoke to voters and told the crowd that she stands a better chance in a general election against Joe Biden than Former President Donald Trump.

While recent polls still show Trump leading Haley in the Palmetto State, she says she’s in the race for the long haul.

Haley also spoke about things she accomplished as a previous governor of South Carolina.

Also, Haley was critical of Donald Trump for not being willing to debate her on national television.

Recently, Haley finished second to former President Donald J. Trump in the New Hampshire Republican primary on Jan. 23.
