Poll: Biden now has a lead over Trump in hypothetical head-to-head match-up for president
(CNN)– A new poll finds President Biden is now in the lead over former President Trump in a hypothetical match-up for president.
The Quinnipiac University National Poll has Biden with 50% support from registered voters.
That’s six points ahead of trump, who has 44% support.
More than 16 hundred registered voters across the country were polled from Jan. 25 to Jan. 26.
In December, the same poll found a head-to-head match-up between the two was too close to call.
But when comparing Biden to the only other remaining GOP candidate Nikki Haley’s support was 47% while Biden had 42%.
