Application open for SC State Fair’s Ride of Your Life Scholarship

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Applications for the South Carolina State Fair’s Ride of Your Life Scholarship is now open.

Students planning to study at any public or private college, university or technical college in the state is who the scholarship benefits.

But there are requirements like having a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, going to a in-state school, enrolled in no less than 30 credit hours each academic year to receive funding for that year and more.

Each year 50 scholarships are given out to high school students pursing their dreams of higher education.

This year the scholarship program is expanding by offering scholarships to 53 students instead of 50 due to a donation made by Circle K.
