Animal shelter’s unique fundraiser offers chance to say ‘Love Bites or ‘Love Stinks’

(CNN)– You can spread a little love next week regardless of your stance of Valentine’s Day.

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society in Iowa has a fundraiser going through February 14. For a $5 donation people can share how they feel about the holiday.

Those who think “love stinks” can enter the name of the heartbreaker on a piece of paper that will be placed in a cat litter box.

Those who think “love bites” can have the name of a person they like on a treat that will be fed to a shelter dog.
