South Carolinians among those carrying most debt in country

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolinians are among those carrying the most debt in the country.

According to a survey by WalletHub, South Carolina ranks 10th among states where consumer debt is increasing the fastest.

According to the survey, the average South Carolinian has nearly $7K in credit card debt along with more than $25K in auto loan debt and $9K in personal loan debt.
