Sumter police searching for 13-year-old boy who disappeared from hospital

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a 13-year-old who was last seen at a hospital, said officers.

Investigators say Jamar Rodgers was at Prisma Health Tuomey being treated for an injury when he walked away from the hospital.

The teen is described as 5 feet tall and weighs around 100 lbs. with a bandage on his left arm, said SPD.

He was last seen wearing a gray and black shirt with a decal on the front; red, black and blue pajama pants; black, gray and red shoes.

Anyone who sees the teen is asked to contact the Sumter Police Department at 803-436-2700.
