Expect to pay more for Valentine’s Day candy this year

(CNN)– Some special Valentine’s Day editions of popular candies appear to be priced higher than about the same amount of their regular versions.

They include Haribo, Sour Patch Kids and Jolly Ranchers.

For example a seven ounce Haribo Gummi Bears Valentine Heart box on Walmart’s website is priced at $5.97.

But a regular eight ounce bag is half of that at $2.38. Walmart said it’s looking into the price differences.

But said some of the Valentine’s Day Candy items on its website are listed by third-party sellers on Walmart Marketplace.
