Traffic Alert: Large water main break causes part of road to close, say Irmo Police
IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– A large water main break is causing the eastbound lane of Lake Murray Boulevard from Irmo Drive to Saint Andrews Road to be closed.
Irmo Police Department says traffic is being divert onto Irmo Drive and Saint Andrews Road at this time.
The police department and Irmo Fire District is asking residents to avoid the area if possible.
The fire department says they are expecting a long term closure.
