Lexington Co.: Man, woman arrested after drugs found in Leesville home

LEESVILLE, S.C. (WOLO)– A man and woman have been arrested after Lexington County deputies found a large amount of drugs in a Leesville home, said the department.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said the seizure of a large amount of meth, marijuana, cash and guns led to the arrest of Arromus Abney and Miranda Lloyd.

“Lexington County narcotics agents conducted controlled purchases of meth from both Abney and Lloyd, which gave the agents probable cause for a search warrant of the residence,” said Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon.

Abney was charged with trafficking meth, possession with intent to distribute meth and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Lloyd was charged with trafficking meth, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, receiving stolen goods and unlawfully place child at risk of or cause harm.

“Agents executed the search warrant and seized more than six pounds of marijuana, eight grams of meth, 10 firearms, drug distribution equipment and more than $12, 00 in cash,” continued the sheriff.

Both Abney and Lloyd have been released from the Lexington County Detention Center after meeting conditions of their bond.
