Sumter County investigators asking for public’s help identifying burglars

 

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects of a recent burglary.

Investigators say in the early morning hours of Feb. 15, three people were seen entering the ABC store on North Main Street.

A video shows the individuals taking several cases and bottles of alcohol worth about $4,000 to $5,000.

Deputies say the individuals were also seen taking a register that held a large sum of money before appearing to leave the scene in a small red sedan-type vehicle around 5:30 a.m.

Also the video showed one of the individuals wearing camouflage pants, a hoodie, and a ski mask. And another was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie with light-colored pants and a ski mask.

The third person was seen on camera wearing light-colored clothing.
