Cinderella Project accepting donations to make someone’s prom a dream come true
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division is continuing its tradition of helping make someone’s prom dreams come true with the Cinderella Project.
The Cinderella Project is entering its 23rd year of providing prom dresses to high school students all over the state of South Carolina.
High school students in need of a prom dress for their special night is provided with gently used or new dresses, shoes and accessories.
Organizers say in 2019, more over 800 students found a prom outfit through the Cinderella Project while more than 250 volunteers gathered at each shopping location to help students.
Dresses and accessories can be donated at several locations in Columbia. There is also an Amazon list for anyone who is not able to donate a dress or drop one off at a selected location.
