No. 21 Gamecocks get midweek win over Queens

No. 21 South Carolina improved to 5-0 after a big 13-3 win over Queens on Wednesday evening.
Cole Messina hit a home run for 357 ft but wasn’t the only gamecock to hit a long ball.
Ethan Petry had an impressive 407 ft home run for the Gamecocks.
Matthew Becker had a solid outing with seven strikeouts with Chris Veach also with back to back strikeouts at the top of the 7th.
Talmadge LeCroy had a triple in the first which was quickly followed by a double from Ryan Bakes. The Gamecocks had an impressive 5 runs in the 4th inning.
Queens tried to answer Carolina, hitting a home run in the 5th and another long ball home run in
the 6th inning.
Evan Stone earned himself a double at the end of the 7th inning.
The Gamecocks improved to 5-0 and host Belmont Friday in a three-game series.
