SC State’s campus will soon have gun sniffing dog

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina State University is getting a new partner in the fight against gun violence.

University officials held a demonstration of a gun-sniffing dog on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

This comes after a student was charged for shooting at another student on campus this month.

The university currently has an officer in training to handle a dog with similar skills as the dog used during Tuesday’s demonstration.
