SLED charges Midlands man following bomb threats
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Midlands man has been charged with 3 counts of threatening to bomb personal property, said SLED.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), said Daquan Ricardo Johnson was charged on Friday, Feb. 16 because he threatened to blow up SLED on October 4, 2023.
Agents stated Johnson called SLED Special Victims Unit and said “I will be sending a bomb to blow up SLED”.
On October 6, 2023, Johnson admitted to SLED agents he made the threat, said the agency.
He was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
