COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Ukrainian artist Jenna (Yevheniia) Bazaliy is hosting a community art event at Richland Library Wheatly on Saturday.

She is encouraging the public to take part in painting the large tout sculpture provided to her as part of the City of Columbia’s Columbia Streams Art public art program.

Previously, Bazaliy held other community art events with Richland Library focused at engaging community members to join together in collaboration on public art that fosters creativity and unity.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, and all ages are welcomed to join in the art event.
