Coroner identifies North Carolina woman who died after single-motorcycle collision in Cayce
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the name of the person who died due to a single-motorcycle collision in the Cayce area, said officiaks.
According to the coroner’s office, Tiffany Lee Livingston, 43, of Statesville, NC was the passenger on a motorcycle traveling northbound on I-77 when the rear tire blew causing the motorcycle to crash.
The collision happened at the 2-mile-marker of I-77 in the Cayce area of Lexington County around 11:49 a.m. on Sunday, February 4.
Livingston was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead on Saturday, February 24, said the coroner’s office.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the incident.
