Join the Light the Fight 5K to battle human trafficking this Saturday!

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – You and your family can join the Light the Fight 5K to fight against human trafficking this Saturday!

Lighthouse for Life’s 5K GLOW Run/Walk goes from 7 – 9 p.m. at Saluda Shoals Park on 6071 St. Andrews Rd. Race day registration is from 5:45 – 6:30 p.m.

Curtis spoke with Linzy Laird, PR & Development Dir. of Lighthouse for Life, spoke about how the event will raise funds for the non-profit’s mission to fight against human & sex trafficking.

Packet pick up is this Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church on 6108 Bush River Rd.

Registration costs are below:

  • $35 Today  – Wednesday
  • $40 March 1 to Race Day on Saturday
  • $10 Kids age 5-12
  • Kids 4 and under run for free (no t-shirt)
