Gas prices in South Carolina

ABC Columbia is comparing the lower gas prices in the Midlands to the rest of the state and the nation.

Currently, drivers in the Midlands are paying $2.92 a gallon.

According to GasBuddy, that’s down seven cents from last week.

In Spartanburg drivers are paying $2.97 a gallon and in Augusta prices are even higher at $3.04 a gallon.

The national average stands at $3.24 a gallon.
