SCDOT: Temporary closure of Gibson Road in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)–  Starting on Monday, March 4, a portion of Gibson Road in Lexington County will be temporarily closed for construction, said SCDOT.

Officials said the closure is expected to last for around 12 days and will allow for the repair of a pipe culvert near the intersection of Cinnamon Hills Court.

During the closure, drivers should use an alternate route.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is asking drivers to slow down and drive safely near work zones.
