WATCH: Lexington boys defeat Byrnes, wins Class 5A state title

FLORENCE, S.C. (WOLO) – For the first time since 2000, Lexington boys basketball are state champs as they defeated JF Byrnes, 67-48.

Jaxon Prunty dropped a team-high 23 points while Texas commit Cam Scott scored 21 points to help Lexington to 5A state championship.

The Wildcats are bringing home the third state title in program history and ended the season on a 18-game winning streak.
