Coroner releases name of single-vehicle collision victim

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has released the name of the person who died in a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday, said the coroner’s office.

The collision happened in the 1100 block of Whetstone Road in the Swansea area of Lexington County around 11:57 a.m. on February 28.

According to Coroner Fisher, Riccy Noelia Menocal Rosales, 31, of Barnwell, was traveling westbound on Whetstone Road when she went off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree.

Rosales was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision is being investigated by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
